More than 400 pallets or 10,000 orders? We also prepare tailored quotes for larger volumes.

Your needs

Which services do you need?

Tell us about receiving and returns. Add other services as needed.

Your estimate

Your budget is taking shape

Here is your monthly range based on the volumes and services you entered.

Your volumes deserve a tailored assessment

We support businesses with more than 400 pallets or 10,000 orders per month. To estimate your logistics costs, we need a few more details about your products and operations.

This amount includes the monthly billing minimum.

Service breakdown

Indicative estimate based on current market rates in Québec. Your final quote depends on your products, your actual volumes and your requirements.

Calculation assumptions

Fulfillment reference amounts include packaging and 1.6 items per order; the item count adjusts this range. Below 50 orders, the cost is proportional to the 50-order reference. Storage uses the per-pallet rate up to 20 pallets, then progresses to the 400-pallet reference.

How the 3PL cost estimate is calculated

How does the calculator estimate my 3PL costs?

The calculation brings together the services that match your volumes:

  • Receiving: per pallet received or per 20- or 40-foot floor-loaded container unloaded by hand.
  • Storage: a per-pallet rate up to 20 pallets, then a progression toward the 400-pallet reference. Shelf locations are calculated separately.
  • Pick and pack (ecommerce): a monthly range that progresses between the 50-order and 10,000-order references. These references include packaging and an average of 1.6 items per order; your average item count adjusts the amount. Below 50 orders, the cost is proportional to the 50-order reference.
  • B2B orders: a rate per order and per carton shipped.
  • Returns: the expected number of returns, based on your return rate, multiplied by a processing rate.
  • Additional services: per unit kitted or labeled.

The total is a monthly range in Canadian dollars, before taxes and excluding shipping. A monthly minimum may apply; when it does, the result says so. See our warehousing and order fulfillment pages for more details.

Where do the rates come from?

3PL pricing varies a lot from one provider to another. Our ranges are based on current market rates in Québec, so you get a realistic order of magnitude before you even talk to us. They are not Kolineo’s contract prices, and the estimate is not a binding quote.

Is shipping included in the estimate?

No. Shipping costs depend on the weight and dimensions of your parcels, your destinations and the service level. They are priced in your quote, destination by destination, using our negotiated carrier rates: our clients save 28% on shipping on average. See our shipping services.

What can change the final price?

Several things the calculator cannot know:

  • the size, weight and fragility of your products;
  • how fast your inventory turns and how seasonal your sales are;
  • the type of packaging: standard boxes, custom packaging, flyer inserts;
  • retailer requirements for your B2B orders: labeling, palletizing, delivery appointments;
  • your actual volumes, once the first few months are behind you.

Why a range instead of an exact price?

Because two businesses shipping 1,000 orders a month can have very different costs: a small, light item does not take the same work as a 15 kg (33 lb) bag or a fragile gift set. The range gives you an honest order of magnitude; the quote starts from your actual products. To dig deeper, read our article on fulfillment costs in Canada.

Does the calculator support larger volumes?

Yes. You can enter more than 10,000 orders per month, more than 400 pallets in storage, or more than 400 pallets received per month. For these volumes, we keep your inputs and offer a personalized assessment without showing an extrapolated price. Our team needs more details about your products and operations to prepare your quote.

How do I get a firm quote?

Your result appears at the third step, with no contact details required. To take the next step, click “Request a quote”, complete the form and submit your request. Your volumes and selected services are included so our team can review your project. There is no commitment. You can also contact us directly.
